Endre's works have remained a well-kept secret among local tarot enthusiasts for many years. When many of our recent buyers asked if we knew how to contact the original maker of this unusual Tarot design, we decided to try and seek him out. From one of his more devoted customers we discovered that Endre had been offering tarot cards and wooden board games at divination shows and renaissance fairs for several years. We finally caught up with Endre and have convinced him to work with us so that he can offer his rare Tarot decks to a wider audience.

Endre is a truly gentle and gifted man. You can see his kind spirit in the tools he creates. His cards have inspired many people over the years. Being one of the few people trained at making this all-wood style of tarot, Endre's cards are destined to remain in demand with serious collectors for many years to come.

Enchanted Oak

This is an amazing Wooden Tarot Deck fashioned by a true old world artisan and based on the artwork of the Children's story book Illustrator, Arthur Rackham from the 1910's and early 1920's. Each item is painstakingly made by hand. No two are ever exactly alike. In the past, even used decks of this style received considerable interest from tarot enthusiasts. However, this Limited Edition deck is from a series of only 100 and is offered here brand new and unused. This deck comes directly from the maker with a matching "Alice in Wonderland"-themed box and a Certificate of Authenticity.

Both the box AND the cards of this amazing Tarot Set are made from wood, not cardboard. This full 78-card tarot deck has been crafted in the same old world style as the masters with the highest quality wood for maximum durability as a working tool as well as an heirloom item.

This remarkable tarot deck is perfect for anyone passionate about reading the tarot. It is also ideal for lovers of turn-of-the-century, storybook Fairy Tale and Fantasy collectibles.

Set includes: 1 78-card wooden tarot deck with Alice in Wonderland theme AND 1 tarot box designed to safely store all the unique cards inside.

The box has an image of Alice at tea with the Mad Hatter and the March Hare. The caption on the box reads: "Alice in Wonderland Tarot".

The edges of the cards are trimmed in METALLIC GOLD. The edging stands out well against the rich dark wood finish found on the backs of each of the cards.

In the spirit of the ALICE IN WONDERLAND theme, the cards of the MINOR ARCANA in the PLAYING CARD format just as the Queen of Heart's servants (all wearing playing card suits) in the Rose Garden. As many tarot lovers will already know the cards of the standard playing card deck are just variations of the ancient tarot suits and match up as follows:

  • CLUBS equal WANDS
  • DIAMONDS equal PENTACLES (Coins or Discs)
